My book Breach of Peace: Portraits of the 1961 Freedom Riders is about to be published, and I have just launched a companion web site —breachofpeace.com—where you can read the remarkable story of the Freedom Rider mug shots and their inadvertant preservation by the State Sovereignty Commission, a sort of Mississippi Stasi.
